Detailed Course Description
The Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is an individual who knows how to facilitate and lead team efforts, establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, support strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and help develop measurement systems to determine organizational improvement. This individual understands the concepts of Lean manufacturing and how to apply the tools and concepts to improve the organization. The CMQ/OE is one of the most practical ASQ certifications with practical applications for any manager and does not require math proficiency.
This intensive course is designed to quickly and efficiently give students the information, skills, strategies, and techniques to successfully prepare to sit for the ASQ CMQ/OE certification exam offered each March and October.

*Taking this course does not constitute or imply the successful passing of the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Operational Excellence exam. Participants will need to study other CMQ/OE BOK topics and practice course concepts outside of class to adequately prepare for the exam.
Format
This is a face-to-face, instructor-led, 30 hour course.

Attendees of this course also receive a copy of the The ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Operational Excellence Handbook, which is a source reference for the CMQ/OE exam, as well as a student workbook with ample space for class notes that can be used as a reference during the exam.
