What Makes IPS Different?
IPS was founded on the principal that businesses need solutions that fit their individual needs and not products that come out of a box. With this principal in mind, IPS coaches are experts at finding solutions that attack the root cause of the problem instead of the symptoms. We do not provide services that we won't guarantee. We lead with results. Our promise to our customers:
- Success isn't because of us. Success isn't because of you. Success comes because we work together toward a common goal: solving your problems
- We will earn your trust in many ways, but be very stingy with losing it.
- We will never be afraid to tell you things you don't want to hear.
What we Believe:
- Results are our measure of success
- Implementing Lean tools alone will not sustain results
- It is the combination of our expertise and your business know-how that creates impact
- Earning our client’s trust is important. Keeping it is priceless.
- We share our expertise and hold nothing back from our clients
- We do not provide services that we won’t guarantee

Alan Openshaw, CSSMBB
Alan has trained and led Lean and Six Sigma transformations around the globe, including extensive work in Europe and Asia deploying Lean Six Sigma. With over 40 years of practical hands-on industry experience, he has spent the last 23 years directly involved in the quality improvement movement. Beginning in 1989 as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at AlliedSignal Aerospace he taught TQM while working in the defense/commercial aircraft/satellite industry.
